Find Jesus

HTC wants to help you FIND a relationship with Jesus?

Jesus said, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life" (John 14:6). Regardless of where you are at, your circumstance, or even your past, there is no greater decision to make in your lifetime than the decision to know and follow Jesus Christ as your Lord. If you want to begin a relationship with Jesus, we would encourage you to:
Realize that you are a sinner

Realize that you are a sinner

No matter how good a life we try to live, we still fall short because of sin. The Bible says, "No one is good—not even one" (Romans 3:10-12) and that "All have sinned against God" (Romans 3:23). Because of our sin, we deserve to be eternally separated from Him (Romans 6:23). We cannot have a saving relationship with Jesus unless we first REALIZE that we are in need of a Savior.
RECOGNIZE THAT JESUS DIED ON THE CROSS FOR YOU

RECOGNIZE that Jesus died on the cross for you

We must then RECOGNIZE that "God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16). He died in our place, taking the very punishment that we deserve (Romans 5:8; 2 Corinthians 5:21).
Repent of your sins

REPENT of your sin

The Bible tells us, "REPENT of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away" (Acts 3:19). The word repent means to change one's direction in life. Instead of running from God, we can run toward Him. "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation" (Romans 10:9-10).
Receive Jesus christ into your heart

Receive Jesus Christ into your life

Becoming or being a Christian is not about hiding behind a religion, it's about RECEIVING Christ and having Him take residence in your heart and in your life! Jesus said, "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in..." (Revelation 3:20).

If you would like to have a relationship with Jesus Christ, simply pray this prayer and mean it in your heart: "Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe You died for my sins. Right now, I turn from my sins and give you my life. I confess You as my personal Lord and Savior. I choose this day to live for You the rest of my life. Thank You for saving me - AMEN."

If you just prayed that prayer...

Congratulations! Welcome to the family of God! In the scope of eternity there is no greater decision to make in your lifetime than the one you just made to commit your life to Jesus Christ today. It’s important that you understand that God wants you to know Him personally and intimately.
