NEXT Steps
If you have landed on this page, it's most likely because you either just gave your life to Jesus or are someone who wants to know more about what it means to be a Christian. Jesus said, "...I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly" (John 10:10). It's an abundant life that doesn't just await you in heaven - it begins with your decision today! As a new believer, you can now walk in a life that is marked by freedom, purpose, joy, faith, hope and love.
We at Harbor Trinity Church want to help walk alongside you as you take that NEXT STEP.
We recommend the following:
Tell Someone
Jesus said, "Everyone who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven" (Matthew 10:32). Let us know of your decision today. Tell your family and those close to you. Your story of faith is worth telling. We'd love to hear about your new commitment.

Read The Bible
Jesus said, “If you abide in My Word, you are truly my disciples." The Bible will help you know Who God is and what He desires for you. When you read and study the Bible it teaches and guides you. It offers hope as you read the plans and promises of God (Romans 15:4).
ATTEND A CHURCH
The Bible says, "Do not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing" (Hebrews 10:24-25). Church is a place where you can belong, serve, worship and be well equipped. We'd love for you to make Harbor Trinity your church, but if not, then make sure it is one that is God-centered and teaches the Bible.
Be Baptized
The Bible says “Repent and be baptized” (John 3). Baptism is an act of obedience. It is symbolic in that you are identifying yourself with Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection (Romans 6:3-4). In short, it is an outward sign of an inward faith in Jesus.

Attend Alpha
Alpha is an 8 week series held at HTC that explores the Christian faith in a small group setting. Here you can learn more about Jesus, ask any question concerning faith or about God, and build community among others who may have similar questions. Our Alpha classes run typically in spring and fall.
Join a small group
HTC values small groups and believe them to be one of the best places for spiritual growth to take place (Proverbs 27:17; Ecclesiastes 4:9-12). Small groups not only provide a place for good Bible study, but they also provide community and a place for people to be real and encourage one another.
Have you given your life to Jesus yet?
Jesus said, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life" (John 14:6). Regardless of where you are at, your circumstance, or even your past, there is no greater decision to make in your lifetime than the decision to know and follow Jesus Christ as your Lord.
