Family fun under the sun!

We know that for parents, sometimes summer can be a handful with kids running around the house. We wanted to help provide some great opportunities that will draw you and the family closer together, give you a couple date nights alone, and even refresh your soul. Below is a detailed schedule of family events we got cookin' this summer.

  • HTC Kids Movie Night

    Fri, June 28; 6:45p-9p; HTC Rm 206

    We will be watching Tangled. For children Kindergarten-6th grade. This is a FREE event and kids will be provided popcorn and drinks. They can wear their pajamas and bring a blanket or pillow to watch the movie. Use this as a date night for you and let your kids have fun with their friends.

  • Family Fun Night

    Mon, July 8; 5-8p; Halecrest Park; (3128 College Ave Costa Mesa 92626) 

    Bring your dinner and enjoy some nighttime fun at the park together. We will roast s’mores for dessert starting at 6:30p. The cost is FREE. Sign up on our church website (space is limited).

  • Adventure Mountain Summer Camp

    July 14-19; Forest Home

    We still have 3 spots available this year; don’t let your 4th-6th grade student miss this amazing camp experience! The cost is $400 for the week, but we have scholarships available. Consider signing up your child next year. Receive notification of when signups for next year begin by emailing Claire Campbell at claire@harbortrinity.org.

  • VBS (Vacation Bible School)

    July 29-Aug 2; 9a-12:30p daily; (1010 N Tustin Ave Santa Ana 92705) 

    This is for kids, birth-6th grade and the cost is FREE! We will be joining with Calvary Church, Santa Ana this year for their incredible safari adventure of Wild VBS! Sign-ups will begin June 2nd.

  • Splash Pad

    Sat, Aug 23; 10a-12p; Sigler Park Splash Pad; (7200 Plaza Street Westminster 92683) 

    We rented out the entire Splash Pad just for our HTC families! This event costs just $5 per family.

  • Family Beach Day

    Thurs, August 29; 10a-1p; Marina Park; (1600 W Balboa Blvd Newport Beach 92663) 

    This park is right on the sand, just a short distance from the ocean. Let the kids enjoy the playground, dig in the sand or swim in the water, and you can enjoy the view. Donuts provided, but bring a picnic lunch for some extended time.
