Dear Harbor Trinity Church Family,
We wanted to update you and let you know that we (HTC elders) are continuing in the search for our next Senior Pastor. We thank you for your prayers and the 100 plus of you who responded to the HTC Congregational Survey. The results are attached below. We are prayerfully using your responses as we seek our next Senior Pastor. We also wanted to update you that we have received many applications in the last month. We will take the necessary next steps to engage with selected candidates and any future applicants God places on our hearts moving into the new year. Please join us in praying that God will raise up and confirm the man who will be the next senior pastor guiding our HTC family.
Thank you,HTC Elders(Chris Brown, Tom Stewart, Graham Forrester, Russ Barton, Mark Reid, Jon Rasmussen, Jeff Bass)

We are so thankful for you and want to keep you informed on the process of finding our next Senior Pastor at Harbor Trinity Church. We invite you to attend an info meeting this Sunday, October 17 in the sanctuary at 11:30am, just after our worship service. Everyone in our church family is invited to attend (non-member, member, student, visitor). We want all attenders to feel informed and on the same page as we prayerfully move forward in the Senior Pastor selection process. Childcare will be provided.
Also, we want to hear from all of you, and we have created a short 10 question survey. The link to the survey is below. We appreciate your input and ask that you complete the survey by Friday, October 29.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts, your time, and your prayers throughout this process.

Dear Harbor Trinity Family,
After much discussion and prayer, I believe the Lord is leading me to retire on March 6, 2022. I feel secure in making this decision knowing that Harbor Trinity has a Biblical foundation, healthy ministries, financial strength, a growing preschool, beautiful facilities, and mature leaders and staff. We are well positioned to reach our community for Jesus and raise up disciples. To that end, the Elders are already working hard to guide the church through the succession process. We spent last weekend on a retreat talking over needs, issues, steps and strategy. In the weeks ahead updates will be given to make sure the congregation is both informed and engaged.
Please know how grateful I am for the love you have shown over the last 31 years. What an honor it has been to preach, teach, witness, baptize, and serve among you as your Youth Pastor, Associate Pastor, and Senior Pastor. I can’t imagine a more gracious and loving family than the one I’ve known at Harbor Trinity. Thankfully Leigh and I still have months ahead to express our appreciation and talk over our future plans. Until then we are grateful for your prayers. You will certainly be in ours. Philippians 1:3 says, “I thank my God in all my remembrance of you.” Our words for you are the same. Although our roles will change, our love for you will not. I have been blessed beyond words to be your Pastor.
In Christ’s Love,
