OUR GOAL
Our goal is to provide a fun and interactive program custom-tailored for kids that will help them know Jesus and grow spiritually in a safe, caring, and nurturing environment. Our children's ministries currently offer three different kids classes on a Sunday morning:
- Nursery: birth - 24 months
- Toddler: 2yrs - 4yrs (not yet potty trained)
- Early Childhood: 4yrs - 1st grade (potty trained)
- Elementary: 2nd - 6th grade
Each of these classes is designed with your kids in mind and is tailored for their age and development! The following will give you a quick glance at what you and your child can expect each Sunday:
Kids church is safe and secure
We want you to feel confident that your child is safe as you worship or serve at HTC. All of our volunteers have a heart for children, are background checked, and are properly trained before they serve in children's ministries.
Kids church is casual and relaxed
Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed! We want you and your kids to feel at home.
Kids church is active and fun
Each week, we offer various games and activities that not only connect with the Bible story and theme for the morning, but they also support your child's development.
Kids church is inspirational
Depending on their age, kids have the opportunity to sing along with hand motions as we lift the Name of Jesus together with songs of worship.
Kids church is educational
Each week we teach all children, from the youngest baby in our Nursery through our 6th graders, in a creative and relevant way that pertains to their age. We also teach our children to "hide God's Word in their hearts" (Psalm 119:11) through Scripture memorization.
Kids church is intentional
God made us for community with one another, therefore we strive to know your children and welcome them. Each week, our volunteers model prayer for your children. Even our youngest babies are prayed over each week.
